Guma Resources, a wholly owned subsidiary company, is a recent addition to the Guma Group of companies.

Guma Resources is primarily involved in the exploration for and evaluation of various minerals with the objective of establishing viable ore reserves and turning such projects to account.

Guma Resources aspires to gain mining rights focusing on diamonds, copper, coal and platinum in Southern Africa.  Guma Resources recently acquired a number of prospecting rights for oil and gas in the great lakes region.

Guma Resources, through its mining operations, has developed a broad base of skills in the area of mining activities. Skills transformation for all of its employees is ensured though in-house training using coaching and a mentoring framework of individual junior employees by more senior staff members and skills development facilitators, which forms the backbone of the training programme.

Guma is committed to poverty eradication and community upliftment in its mining locale as well as the areas from which the majority of its workforce originates.
